Top Ten
So, apparently everyone thought it would be a good idea to do like a “Top Ten Whatever of the last decade” thing since it’s going to be 2010 in 28 days. Do we do this every decade? I can’t remember. I guess it’s a big deal since we’re in a new century and all but time is irrelevant in my opinion. It’s just a number man made up so he could keep track of things. Without time we would just have Day and Night, the Seasons and best of all Children & Adults. Think about that for a second, a world without time. You’re as old as you feel would literally be true. Thats the world I wanna live in but I digress.
With all that said I have decided to take part in the “Top Ten Blah Blahs” I’ll put up a new one I find every other day or so or better yet just make up my own. Here’s one that I found that interested me as a film kid “The 10 best long tracking shots ever filmed”.
I love long takes, I would have added on more to the list though in my opinion “Slacker” by Richard Linklater has some great long takes/ tracking shots in there in fact the whole movie feels like one long take. It feels like real life and thats my favorite kind of filming.
